J. Anthony Fine

Houston, Texas – J. Anthony "Tony" Fine, 56, died October 21, 2008 at North Cypress Hospital. He was born in Savannah, son of the late Julius S. and Mildred Frierson Fine. Tony was a 1969 graduate of Benedictine Military School and was a Project Manager for MODEC International in Houston, Texas for many years. He was a communicant of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, member and past commander of the Scottish American Military Society, member of the St. Andrews Society and member of the Savannah Scottish Games Committee where he served as president for five years.
Surviving are his wife, Glenna Trainor Fine of Savannah; son, Anthony W. Fine of Savannah; daughter, Tessa Fine and her fiancé, Brian Ginn of Savannah.

Visitation: 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 25, 2008 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.
Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 25, 2008 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church with The Reverend Patrick O'Brien officiating.
Burial: Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Houston.
